Nepali Artist Anup Bhandari

Bhandari, according to his profile page,

“..came to the United States eleven years ago in pursuit of learning art. In recent years, his artwork has received top honors in art competitions and art shows. He has been featured in the East Texas Regional Artist show at the Longview Museum of Fine Arts. He is currently a finalist for the 2011 Hunting Art Prize in Houston. Anup is accomplished with his use of acrylics and also has a passion for mixed media works as well.

Anup Bhandari has been known for his community involvement in the East Texas area. Anup has helped coordinate mural projects at Buckner Children and Family Services, and he organized a blanket donation drive for homeless individuals. The donation of the patriotic paintings is a continuation of the community involvement.”
