The Nepal Youth Foundation selects highly talented and motivated girls of the Dalit (“untouchable”) caste, and donors sponsor the girls’ education at top Nepali colleges and universities. Through their accomplishments, these young women will break down cultural barriers about the roles of women and Dalits in Nepali society.
Inspiring Olga Murray is the force behind NYF. She was a lawyer at California Supreme Court but a trip to Nepal in 1984 changed her path.
At 85, she is strong as ever and is providing tremendous service and compassion to Nepal’s children in need.
